Zenith L'Heure Exact Chronometer Display Clock
Beautiful Zenith chronometer in a wooden box.
These chronometers were used in watch shops for the watch-makers, customers and even passers-by to set the correct time.
The chronometer consists of a high quality Zenith movement, cal. 6690. It has a hacking feature, with the small pin (left on top of the dial) the second hand can be stopped to synchronize it. And there is also a power reserve indicator subdial, unfortunately this doesn't function in this clock. It seems that the power reserve mechanism is incomplete.
The overall condition of the chronometer is good, there are no damages visible on the wooden box . There is only some small wear and ageing visible. The key to lock the wooden box is also missing, I can't imagine someone ever used that.
The chronometer is running very well and ofcourse keeping time. According to the serial number it was made around 1910.
Please take a good look at all the photos for a good impression. There are even photos of the front and back of the movement!
The dimension of the wooden box are 15 x 12 x 9 cm, and the total weight is 950 grams.
