Doxa Goliath Pocket Watch
Beautiful Goliath pocket watch made by Doxa around 1910.
Doxa was founded in Le Locle, Switzerland in 1889. In the early 20th century they became famous for their anti-magnetic timepieces which were highly appreciated by professional users, like car manufacturers and railway companies. The case of this pocket watch is made of Argentan, a nickel-silver alloy, which protects the movement from outside magnetic influences.
The pocket watch is in very good condition, both cosmetically and mechanically. Only light signs of usage are visible.
The movement is signed "Doxa" and runs excellently.
The diameter is 68 mm without the crown and the weight around 200 grams.
