The\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e Nieuwe Zakelijkheid or New Objectivity was characterized by angular shapes and designs free of ornamentation and decoration.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe speaker was nicknamed the Pancake due to its characteric shape. It is made of bakelite with a steel triangular base. The bakelite is still in a very good conditionc, there is no chipping visible.
