They were active till the 1950's. They produced ship's telegraphs from the late 19th until the mid-20th century, due to the arise of the large steamships a direct communication between the bridge and engine room became necessary.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe ship's telegraph which is for sale here has a height of around 110 cm and a weight of more than 30kgs.
